I often say that college was where I got my degree, but my education came from understanding the higher education industry. Personal development has always been a passion of mine, but I was astounded that this wasn’t a standard part of the curriculum. My ambition became to take higher education deeper by bringing co-curricular educational programming to college students.

Along the way, I met and became a mentee of Mark Victor Hansen. Together we brought “Chicken Soup for the College Soul” to the world. Mark helped me see my skills in a new light and encouraged me to lean into my niche. I knew the U.S. higher education industry intimately at a time when nobody else really was focused on it. From this position of strength, I became a platform speaker and guest lecturer at over 2,500 U.S. colleges.

Building on this momentum, I founded Collegiate Empowerment with the goal of helping college students level up in life. Our team guides students in finding their passion and discovering their purpose so they are empowered to create a life of meaning and contribution to our greater humanity. Building the support system my generation lacked is truly fulfilling work.

Over time, I became an Intellectual Capitalist®. My mission has expanded beyond the collegiate sphere. I now help growth minded, ambitious, and decisive entrepreneurs transform their expertise into intellectual assets that generate capital and create lasting value. In my view, success is the freedom to be yourself. In order to be yourself, you have to know yourself. Once you know yourself, you can be in tune with God's divine inspiration in you. The end result is intellectual pride.
